THE husband of a woman found dead in a Wiltshire river will appear in court today charged with her murder.
Software designer Randle Williams, 43, was taken into custody shortly after 8am yesterday and was charged with the murder of Natalie Williams, 33, last night.
He was due to appear at Chippenham magistrates court this morning. Mrs Williams' body was found in the River Avon near her Bradford-on-Avon home 10 days ago.
Post-mortem tests showed she had been asphyxiated. Mr Williams, who shared the £300,000 converted millhouse with his wife, was first arrested a couple of days later.
He was questioned for five days before being released without charge on Sunday night.
Mrs Williams was reported missing by her husband after failing to return from a late-night walk on April 22.
