A TEAM from Swindon-based building society Nationwide is taking part in Europe's biggest ever team building event in June to raise money for the NSPCC.

They are among 100 teams which will battle it out in a series of physical and mental challenges held at a secret location on Exmoor National Park for the Microsoft Challen-gers Trophy. The competition will test mind, body and spirit, with the need to meet dead-lines, reach locations and solve problems all against the clock.

Annabel James, head of the NSPCC's corporate fund-raising, said: "We are delighted that Nationwide is taking part and is raising money for our Full Stop campaign.

"Sadly the need for the services of the NSPCC is as great as ever. Each week at least one child under five dies of abuse or neglect and 600 are added to child protection registers. Without the help of organisations like Nationwide such children would have a bleak and uncertain future."
