FORMER Salisbury businesswoman Jill Fuller, who ran Land - the upmarket handbag shop in Fish Row - was found guilty this week of helping to hide millions of pounds of drugs money.
During a two-week trial at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court, a jury heard how Fuller (54) helped boyfriend Michael Tyrrell - now serving 26 years for his part in a £40m cocaine importation attempt - to hide the proceeds of his drug-trafficking by buying a string of properties, including the Salisbury shop.
Fuller claimed she financed her side of the property deals with money from her ex-husband and her business - and towards the end of the trial former James Bond star Timothy Dalton appeared in court as a character witness for her.
But on Monday, the jury of nine women and three men convicted her by a ten-two majority verdict of concealing the profits of drug-trafficking.
Fuller, of Love Lane, Salisbury, was bailed on receipt of a £50,000 surety for sentence on July 1.
