SO Mr Brown will stand against the proposed war on Saddam Hussein because he fears 'the war on Iraq will push the price of oil up and harm the British economy.'
That just about sums up the greed and hypocrisy which goes behind political thinking and decision making no thought to the thousands of innocents that may die in some trumped up reason for blasting Iraq (we are already killing thousands with the embargoes on that country).
Weapons of mass destruction are manufactured and stock piled by the USA a country that will stop at nothing to achieve world domination.
The USA is far more of a threat to world peace than Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden put together (both of which by the way have been helped, trained, financed, armed etc, by the USA and Britain!
I will be interested to see if the International Air Tattoo will again be held at Fairford and if so who the recipient countries of the hi-tech hardware available will be considering there is a supposed war on terrorism going on and past dictators (terrorists) have been made more than welcome there, as I expect they will be in the future. Hypocrisy, we invented it.
