NOW that Coun Wendy Johnson and Ian Rees (head of transport) have eventually got the road built through the Lawns, I asked Coun Johnson if something could be done about the footpaths, which have been left in a disgusting state.
I specifically mentioned the footpath which crosses the new road by Dorchester Road, and she said that she did not know they were going to build the road down that far do we understand from this that Coun Johnson voted for this road, against the wishes of her constituents, but was not quite sure what she was voting for?
People who do not live in this area must be fed up with this issue but if they could see what has been going on and is still happening they would be appalled hundreds of thousands of pounds must have been wasted preparing and laying this road then digging it up and relaying all of it.
