WARMINSTER almost caused Bath huge embarrassment in this game .

They took an early lead and hung onto it until the last quarter of the game.

They began by soaking up early pressure from Bath and then surprised everyone by taking the lead with their first attack of note. Chris Tricker played the ball out to Mike Kelso, running down the right from midfield. He took the ball on a few paces and then rifled a shot inside the near post with the Bath goalkeeper Tim Dowling rooted to the spot.

Bath pressed for much of the rest of the half but were guilty of off target shots or efforts that went straight to Lloyd Chamberlain.

After 72 minutes Bath Reserves scored a somewhat scrambled equaliser when they were awarded a fortuitous free kick, which the defence did not clear and Nigel Gillard scored from close range at the far post.
