A MAN with military connections has been arrested in connection with the rape of a teenage girl in Warminster.
The 16-year-old from Melksham was raped outside Oscars nightclub on April 18.
Police are looking for those responsible for two assaults in Trowbridge the following night.
In the first incident a 15-year-old girl said she was raped in a churchyard at Back Street at about 11.15pm on Friday.
Later, at about 1.40am, police were called to Alma Street where a woman was screaming.
She had been in Terry's Night Spot in Trowbridge before being followed by a stranger.
He subjected her to a serious sexual assault.
A 22-year-old Trowbridge man was arrested in connection with the attack on the 15-year-old girl but has been ruled out of the second attack in the town.
He has been released on police bail.
