I thought I would jot a few lines regarding public meetings organised by the council.
I see there was a meeting the other day regarding the building of a mental home at Paulton.
They certainly know how to organise these meetings so nobody turns up; what I can gather, there were six at this last meeting and the rest were council members.
It is not that people do not take any interest in these meetings; it is the timing of them.
This last meeting started at 5pm, some people had not even finished their day's work by then, let alone been home and had a bite to eat and cleane up. No public meeting should start before 7.30pm or 8pm.
