MAY 9: LEFT Of Centre Komedy, otherwise known as LOCK, is Bath's newest Comedy Club.
Opened last Thursday, the venue, upstairs at RSVP, Edgar Buildings, George Street, is now open every Thursday from 8pm-11pm.
On May 9, Paul B Edwards and James Dowdeswell will be taking to the stage, with compere Mike Toombs.
Paul B Edwards is one of the most sought-after comics on the circuit. His genial combination of jokes, songs, poetry ("sometimes a bit childish, sometimes a bit rude") make him a rocking headline act.
Paul is a regular at all the best comedy clubs in the UK including Jongleurs, The Comedy Store, and Jesters.
His TV appearances include The Big Breakfast, Olympic Comedy, and Fives Company.
Local comic James Dowdeswell has built up some brilliantly clever gags from his slightly absurd observational standpoint.
He couples strong material with absurd and whimsical stagecraft to produce an intelligent and fun act.
Anyone who can produce a routine as inspired as he does on the unlikely-sounding topic of a retired train announcer at Bristol's Temple Meads station will go far.
Entrance on the door is £6-50 (£6 concessions). For more details, please contact Louise on 07899 666423.
