HUNDREDS of people descended on Tidworth leisure centre last week in the hope of having their prized family possessions valued by experts from the BBC Antiques Roadshow.
They began queuing with their heirlooms - some wrapped in paper and others in boxes and carrier bags - just after 9am on Thursday.
More than 600 had passed through the doors by 11.30am, with queues still stretching back outside to the main car park.
Whether it was a £100,000 painting or a £5 cup and saucer, everything received a professional opinion from one of the 13 experts on hand to offer free advice and valuations.
The Roadshow crew was filming for a programme that is due to be screened in the autumn.
