THE library in Chippenham will be hosting a musical celebration of the wartime generation on Wednesday, called Thanks for the Memory.
Community entertainer Rose Lunt will be presenting her one-woman show at 3.30pm, with song, monologue, drama and original film sequences, all based on the Second World War.
The show will be followed by an indoor street party, reminiscent of VE Day celebrations.
"This event will interest and enthral all ages," said community librarian Gill Spence.
"It will be particularly poignant for people who remember those times."
Tickets cost £3.50, including the celebration tea, and are available from Chippenham Library.
