Wiltshire Air Ambulance is urging supporters to think about leaving a legacy in their wills to help the appeal.
The charity receives no funding or grant aid from local or national statutory bodies and does not qualify for National Lottery funding, so the need for the appeal to be remembered by people making a will is vital.
Steve Chesworth, fund-raising co-ordinator for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal, said: "We would urge people that if they haven't yet made a will to please remember the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal."
