ALONZA Fallon got drunk and head butted his former flatmate, a court heard.

Fallon, 19, of Reevey Farm Cottages in Kempsford, Gloucestershire, admitted head butting his friend Matthew MacDougal on March 23 outside his new flat above an Indian takeaway in Cricklade.

Amanda Sawetz, prosecuting, said the incident happened after Fallon had gone to the White Hart pub in the town with Mr MacDougal and his father.

While there Fallon started getting loud and Mr MacDougal suggested to his father that they finished their drinks and left, which they did.

Back at the flat Fallon attempted to apologise, but the conversation became heated and Fallon left. He later returned and Mr MacDougal went outside to persuade him to leave, and he was head butted by Fallon.

Michael Jeary, defending, said Fallon had stopped drinking alcohol and had returned to live with his parents.

"He has clearly shown remorse. He is extremely sorry," said Mr Jeary.

Fallon was found guilty of common assault and criminal damage and was sentenced to serve a 12-month community rehabilitation order.
