YOUNGSTERS eager to become the next pop idol are to battle it out at a talent contest in Bath this weekend.
A total of 12 competitors, all under the age of 25, will play to a crowd of more than 300 for the Bath City Football Club pop superstar competition on Sunday, at the club's Twerton ground.
The audience is to pick a winner who will scoop £250, a video shoot and a management contract.
A CD of 12 songs recorded by the finalists will be on sale at the final.
