PUBS across the area are looking forward to a busy day tomorrow for England's high noon World Cup clash with Argentina.
The Sir Audley Arms in Chippenham, is holding a barbecue after the match and landlord Wayne Bentley is hoping for a repeat of the atmosphere against Sweden. "It was the best since we have been in the pub, particularly when we were 1-0 up."
The Wheatsheaf in Calne, is expecting to be packed. "It's going to be even bigger than the Sweden match," said Richard Elms, whose wife Linda is landlady. At The Three Cups in Malmesbury people were dancing in the bar when England went ahead against Sweden. Landlord John Bores said: "I just hope England do well this time."
The Crown, in Devizes, is awash with England colours. Bar manager Martin Baker is looking forward to a hectic day. "We hope it will be busy, and I think it will be," he said.
