Solicitors Charles Lucas & Marshall has welcomed Rupinder Rai to its expanding family law team.
Previously with Churchers solicitors of Portsmouth, where she completed her training, Rupi focused on general family law and child care, liaising with local authorities and children's organisations.
She said: "I was very impressed with Charles Lucas and Marshall on a number of counts.
"I liked the fact they are involved with the community, and are a very well respected local firm which has already been highly recommended by a number of people.
"I shall be working on general family law, but hope to focus more closely on children in the future."
Rupi will be working with Suzy Hamshaw, Lyn Ellins and David Small in the family law team at CLM.
CLM's Michael Berrett said: "Rupin-der's all round experience in family law and her liaison with local authorities adds another dimension to our team here, and will be of great benefit to our clients."
