SKURRAYS Vauxhall have told the Wiltshire Football League management committee the coming season will be their last as sponsor.

League secretary Pete Ackrill said: "Of course we are all disappointed, Wilts League clubs have benefited over the last seven years from their generous sponsorship agreement.

"The decision is mainly due to the retirement of their group director Derek Walker, who was the main instigator of the sponsorship deal in 1995. I would be delighted to receive a call from anyone interested in sponsoring the league for season 2003/2004 on (01793) 520334."

Corsham printers Adkey will again sponsor the Senior Knockout Cup for the 12th year and Chris Plaister of Plaister Autos is to continue to support in the form of sponsorship for the Intermediate Knockout Cup. The Junior Knockout Cup will be sponsored by Fountain Trophies of Bristol.

Ken Clarke, of Westernsport Trophies, has donated the individual award for the Referees Appreciation Award. It will be presented to registration secretary Rod Wirdnam for 25 years service as a referee.

This season the Premier Division welcomes two new sides, Warminster Town who have been relegated from the Western League and Castrol who have been promoted from the Intermediate Division. Trowbridge Town Reserves will be a new side in the Intermediate section and the Junior Division will be cut to 16 teams with Swindon Eagles being disbanded and Wootton Bassett A withdrawing from the league.
