WE welcome any advance in the treatment of mesothelioma, the terrible chest malignancy that has come to be known as the Swindon Disease.
Countless people whose loved ones have this terrible industrial illness caused by contact with asbestos or who are in danger of developing it in future are understandably praying for a cure.
But in the meanwhile the new treatment offers hope that patients' suffering can be eased.
That is the best news we have yet heard in the black saga of this illness.
