DEDICATED staff from apetito in Trowbridge who have put in a total of 235 years service with the company have been rewarded for their long service.

Chief executive Paul Freeston paid tribute to the dedication of the work force this week.

He was speaking at a long service awards ceremony at the Canal Road firm. Mr Freeston said: "The company is now more successful that at any other time in its history at Trowbridge and one of the reasons is the commitment by the firm's staff."

Mr Freeston presented awards to five employees who had gained 10 years service with the company, three who had achieved 15 years, three 20 years, two 25 years and one who had clocked up 30 years service.

"It is an amazing feat," he said. "You have achieved 235 years service between you all."

Diana Doughty Margaret Green, John Lloyd, Andrew Griffin and James Allen were presented gifts for 10 years service.

Eunice Dobson, Nigel Richards, Sean Bence were honoured for 15 years and Sue Kearns, Sue Elliott and Maureen Cavill were presented with gifts for 20 years service.

Carol Walton and Sharon Dennison were each given a watch and flowers for 25 years service and Pat Kimber was presented with a clock and flowers for her 30-year service.
