TROWBRIDGE entertained Lydney on Saturday in the Wilts hire and Gloucestershire League.
Lydney, put in to bat, never got on top of the Trowbridge bowling, only Stowe dominating for a quick knock of 47, and their final score of 134-8 never looked enough.
Pick of the Trowbridge bowlers were Andy Hales (3-29), Dean Semken 3-31 and Mike Beel, who bowled a miserly spell of 12 overs for 16 runs.
Trowbridge replied positively with Rich Greatorex throwing caution to the wind and smashing all the Lydney bowlers for a hard hit 92 not out and, with skipper Des Gingell finishing on 25 not out, Trowbridge ran out winners by 10 wickets.
