A specialist training company has opened a new centre in Temple Street, Swindon.
Training Centres (UK) Ltd, part of the Bristol-based Nyala Group, is offering more than 600 computer training courses through the Government Learndirect network.
The Swindon office is managed by Heather Farrell, who has extensive experience in the training field in both the UK and in South Africa.
She said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Swindon.
"The demand for knowledge is increasing by the day. The Government has forecast that every home will have a computer, plus access to the internet, and people do not want to be left behind," she said.
"TCUK is offering a totally flexible approach to learning, including CD Roms and on-line training packages, enabling people to learn at a centre, at home or at work, secure in the knowledge that qualified help is always on hand."
TCUK, an approved examining body up to City & Guilds Stage III, is also involved in rolling out a new training programme to the business sector.
