The Wiltshire Times has appointed Toby Granville as its new editor.
The former editor of award-winning London Docklands' weekly newspaper The Wharf began his career at 17 on the Sunday People as a showbiz reporter. Three years later he left to edit an entertainment supplement for the Recorder group in east London, before joining The Wharf as deputy editor.
But Essex-born Toby's no stranger to the county, as he has been a regular visitor for six years through his Chippenham-born wife Debbie Waite, who he married in Warminster last summer.
Toby, 28, said: "I am delighted to be in the editor's chair at one of the best regional newspapers in the country.
"As editor, I will pledge to continue to feed the community's needs with the best quality stories, ensuring that the Wiltshire Times is the county's number one read."
