TEENAGERS rocked and rolled during the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations in Warminster on Sunday.
As part of the town's three days of events, a skateboarding and blading competition and exhibition was held in the Lakeside Pleasure Grounds.
Skaters performed tricks to live music and their daredevil antics were judged in a competition.
Youth worker Derek Maguire, who helped organise the event, said: "It was a great success and the first time we've held a competition like it on this skateboarding park.
"A couple of hundred people enjoyed the park on the day and the event attracted a lot of skaters from outside the area."
Brave Warminster mayor, Andrew Davies, put his life in the hands of the skaters when he lay down and let them jump over him thankfully there were no injuries.
Mr Maguire said: "We have a music show and exhibition here every year, which is usually in September. We changed the date to coincide with the jubilee."
