IN last week's letter, Canal facts, Melksham Town Councillor Colin Goodhind sought to clarify the situation regarding the Wilts and Berks canal link to the Kennet and Avon canal.
The piece contained a typographical error; the third paragraph should have concluded:
"The route being considered is challenging and the concerns raised are serious but talk of a 'barrage of criticism' and reference to 'protesters' is most unhelpful."
