VILLAGERS enjoying the seventh Holt Music Festival on Saturday have been told the successful day could be the last.
Organisers say the festival has an uncertain future unless more volunteers can be found to help run it.
Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy the day, which is organised by the Holt Village Hall Trustees to raise funds for the upkeep of the hall and is held on Holt's playing field.
Christine Tucker, one of the organisers, said: "It was great and we had our biggest crowd so far. The weather was perfect.
"We are hoping to do as well as last year which raised £3,500. Everybody in the village supports us and comes so we do well, but we are more concerned about people enjoying themselves."
The Dave Southall Big Band performed during the afternoon, while Holt Morris and Hips and Haws entertained villagers with folk dances.
Stalls, fete games and tractor rides courtesy of David Crees helped create a fun-filled family atmosphere.
Live music was provided through the evening by Dynamo's Rhythm Aces and Fatman Swings.
Mrs Tucker said the event has been successful, but more help was needed.
She said: "The day was really hectic and was a struggle for us. We have enjoyed doing it but we need help."
