I WAS interested and pleased to note that you dissociated your newspaper from the outpourings of one Peter Heaton-Jones.
Yes, there have been lots of faults on both sides regarding Swindon Town and Swindon Borough Council, not least the arm-twisting by the council in the early 70s.
This was when the football club were persuaded against their better judgement to build a much bigger stand than they envisaged.
That decision has caused problems for both parties ever since.
Nevertheless are Mr Heaton-Jones' hysterics another example of those who don't live here but take a good living from our town, and then proceed to knock its people, history and institutions?
