SIR Christopher Benson, the High Sheriff of Wiltshire, was today due to visit Swindon's Youth Offending team.
His theme for his year in the post is law, order, youth and education and is offering his support to organisations that fall under these headings.
The youth offending team is run by Swindon Council in partnership with other agencies, including the police, probation service and health organisations.
Its aim is to decrease the number of young offenders in Swindon and decrease re-offending rates.
