I THANK you and your newspaper for publishing my letter seeking a Tony Bishop.
I am pleased to report that his son, Clive, telephoned me following publication.
The sad revelation is that Tony Bishop died several years ago. However, my friend David Gardener having been invited to telephone Clive Bishop for a chat about Clive's late father, contacted him and the two of them had a happy and extended conversation.
My thanks also to several other callers who kindly gave me some recollections of their past contact with Tony Bishop.
