Virgin Mobile said thanks to its hard working employees on Sunday, July 21, hosting an elaborate party in the grounds of Longleat House, near Warminster.

The party, called The Sky's The Limit, lived up to its name, as the company played host to nearly 3,000 guests providing them with free food, drink and entertainment.

The company, whose call centre is situated on the White Horse Business Park in Trowbridge, took over Longleat for the day to throw the 12 hour bash as a summer treat for the staff.

It was all the fun of the fair for the party-goers with dodgems, fun rides and even a big wheel with bouncy castles laid on for the children.

Events in the big top included Stars In Your Eyes competitions, ending with the performances by The Overtures and Reload.

One of the guests was Kerry Stud, from the Trowbridge based customer centre, who took along her two daughters Chelsea and Charlie to the event.

She said: "This is a great day out a terrific way for a company to thank their work force.

"It makes me feel very loyal to the company for taking such steps to reward the staff."

Virgin Mobile's managing director Tom Alexander joined in the fun taking along his four-year-old daughter Lucy. He said: "It's down to the staff that the company has been so successful and it is our way of thanking them."

Peter Rabbit and a story teller, and Bart and Homer Simpson characters added to the party atmosphere.

There were also fairground rides, including a simulator offering a futuristic trip.

For the sporting enthusiasts, the Formula One Jordan racing car was on show, along with Virgin Mobile sponsored superbikes.

A Virgin hot air balloon gave visitors a bird's eye view of Longleat in a tethered ride.
