PLEASE may I, through your newspaper, thank the many supporters and Friends of Hilperton Gap who took the trouble to attend the Public Inquiry at the Civic Hall on September 4. We were truly amazed at the overwhelming turn out that evening; well over 300 people came.
I thank especially the county councillor, Tony Moore, and our MP Dr Andrew Murrison for their interest. I would have liked to see other town and district councillors in attendance so they may have become better informed about this highly contentious issue.
