SALISBURY Festival and Salisbury City Centre Management are teaming up to offer shopkeepers and restaurateurs the chance to show off their creativity by coming up with eye-catching window displays with a festival theme.
Each outlet taking part will be given a free pair of tickets to the festival's family fireworks fiesta, which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26.
Festival organisers and the city centre management team reckon shops, restaurants and cafes will be spoilt for choice for inspiration, as this year's festival has a feast of Indian, Asian and African treats, as well as a clowning theme.
The festival, which runs from May 23 to June 8, is also offering classical concerts, free music fringe Salisbury Live, which is sponsored by the Salisbury Journal and Spire FM, and street theatre.
Businesses can join the festival's Business Circle corporate membership scheme, sponsored by law firm Wilsons.
For £500 businesses can benefit from a range of ticket deals and access networking events.
