WHITEHEAD Vizard solicitors of Salisbury have four employees training to be legal executives, all of them women.
The quartet, who are at different stages of the four-year course, comprises Charlotte Mitchell, Clare Gittins, Gemma Roberts and Claire Parker
Ms Mitchell started work in Whitehead Vizard's commercial department in March 2002, after working for firms in Frome and Bath.
She would like to specialise in commercial or probate.
Ms Gittins, who works in the family department, worked at Guildford County Court in the family section for two years and held the position of family clerk to the district judges.
Ms Roberts, a former head girl at St Edmund's Girls' School, did work experience at Whitehead Vizard and afterwards decided she wanted to make the law her career.
Joining the firm straight from school, she has dealt with employment law, personal injury and dispute resolution.
Ms Parker works in the property department.
She is in the final year of the course and would like to specialise in conveyancing.
