TWO Shrivenham-based officers have received awards.
Majors James Convery, of the Royal Logistic Corps, and Iain Metcalf, of the King's Regiment, received a Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service for their duties in Northern Ireland.
They are both now based at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in Shrivenham.
Major Convery, 35, is studying for a masters degree in defence logistic management.
Major Metcalf, 33, is also studying at the base where he is completing a year-long professional development course for officers in combat arms fighting systems.
