Nothing is more galling than seeing somebody flout the rules, while everyone else follows them to the letter.
That applies to designated disabled parking spaces at supermarkets, which all too often are used by able bodied people who cannot be bothered to park that bit further away from the store entrance.
Now some disabled shoppers are justifiably concerned that parking has become an even bigger problem at one supermarket since the store stopped using a company to monitor its car park.
Roger Hawkins fears that too many people are being allowed to get away with their irresponsible behaviour. Whatever the reasons behind Tesco's decision, we can only hope the store continues to make sure free parking facilities are not abused by people.
And people who park in disabled bays should stop immediately.
