PARTNERS Theatre Company is running a free newcomers' workshop at Swindon's Wyvern Theatre next week in a bid to recruit new members.
Partners works with professional artists to deliver theatre, as well as film, music, visual arts and dance.
The group, which has appeared in national television dramas and films, is seeking actors of mixed abilities who may have learning difficulties or physical disabilities.
Partners Theatre Company performs in schools and venues around Swindon, and has also appeared in festivals around the country. "I have had so much fun and learnt so many new things with Partners," said John Alford, a member for the last three years.
"We are now looking forward to welcoming new budding actors of all abilities to join our group."
Partners is managed by Reach Inclusive Arts, which runs arts projects for disabled people throughout Swindon and Wiltshire.
Anyone who would like to become involved with Partners is invited to join the newcomers workshop on May 1 between 4.15pm and 6.45pm. To take part, contact Partners' arts director Jackie Singer on (01865) 718980.
