DAUNTSEY'S School start their season this morning with a match against the MCC at West Lavington, start 11.30am.
The squad have recently returned from a very successful trip to Malta during which they won two and lost one of their matches.
Games were played at the picturesque Marsa Sports Club. The squad worked hard at their cricket during a week of practice and matches, gelling as a unit and improving as the week progressed.
After losing to Marsa Cricket Club in the first game the team bounced back to defeat St Paul's School, London, Elliott Gamble top scoring with 44 not out. Chris Jones and Ed Curtis both took three wickets.
In the final game, the tables were turned on the Marsa Club with Dauntsey's winning comfortably. Charlie Kemp scored his first half-century for the first eleven.
