WILTSHIRE O50s team will give a host of new players the chance to display their talents in two trial matches this month.
Captain Peter Hagelthorn said: "This is a very encouraging development which will ensure the side can play effectively in this year's competition."
He hopes this will encourage more to come forward as players are eligible to play immediately on their 50th birthday.
The trial matches and teams are: v Surrey at Swindon on 8th May: Colin Webb, Ron Smith, Keith Redding, Tim Nicholls, John Millington, Keith Steer, David Howden, Peter Storr, Colin Cook Andy Stevens
v Wales at Trowbridge on 15th May: Peter Hagelthorn, John Gale, David Edwards, Geoffrey Edwards, Gwyn Blenkinsop, John Mitchell, James Ridge, David King, Colin Cook, Peter Mathias. Both matches start at 2pm.
