Robert Wade (captain)
Joined club in 1992 after moving to Salisbury. Leading club run scorer on two occasions. Played for Wiltshire since 1995. Right hand bat, useful right arm medium bowler.
Russell Rowe
Prolific batsman who has played for the club all his life. Wiltshire captain, right hand bat. In 2002 scored 605 runs in league, finished 8th in Minor Counties run scoring charts. In 2001 scored 857 runs to take the league batting prize.
Paul Draper
Joined in 2002 from Calmore. Represented Hampshire Board and Wiltshire. Prolific all-rounder. League's leading all-rounder in 2002 with 555 runs and 35 wickets, finishing 5th in batting and 3rd in bowling charts. Right hand opening bat, left arm spin.
Jason Laney
Played for the club as a colt before joining the Hampshire staff. 1993-2002 Hampshire - 4,414 first-class runs including five 100s and 26 50s, 2,903 limited overs runs with two 100s and 11 50s. Won the prestigious 1996 Dennis Compton award. Re-joined South Wilts for 2003 season. Right hand bat, right arm off spin, acclaimed fielder.
Jamie Glasson
Another to come through the famed South Wilts Colts set-up. Capped Wiltshire player, captaining the county on several occasions. Right hand bat, excellent fielder. Won the league batting prize in 1996.
Tom Caines
Joined in 2001 from Burridge. Right hand bat, right arm eccentric off spin. Scored 350 league runs in 2002.
Tim Lamb
Joined club following distinguished school cricket and rugby career. Right hand bat, wicket keeper, useful right arm medium when required. Reg-ular in Dorset minor-county side - part of their recent championship winning side.
Jo Cranch
Another from the South Wilts youth system. South-West England junior. Had a spell at Westbury, now looking for a spell in the first XI after a successful 2002 for the seconds. Right hand bat, wicket keeper.
Dan Webb
Joined mid-way through 2002 after moving to the area with the Army. Formerly of Cleethorpes CC in Yorkshire League. Right hand bat.
Simon Woodhouse
Another from the youth set up. County badminton player, played one match for Wiltshire CCC. Right hand bat.
Jon Chandler
Also came through youth system. Currently studying at UWIST (Cardiff). Right arm medium, left hand bat.
Shaun Little
Another to have progressed through the youth. Plays representative cricket for the Army. Right hand bat, right arm off spin.
Chris Steedon
Left the club to start his Southern League career with Calmore. Re-joined 2000. Right arm medium, hard-hitting right hand bat.
Jimmy Seeary
Overseas player for 2003 from South Melbourne CC. Played with Roger Sillence this winter in Melbourne. PE teacher and qualified cricket coach. Right arm medium fast.
Hugh Tomlinson
Joined from Appleshaw in 2001. Right arm medium.
Jimmy Tomlinson
Joined from Appleshaw in 2000. Gained a Hampshire CCC contract in 2002 and is highly rated at the Rose Bowl. Played numerous first class games last season. Currently at UCCE Cardiff (Cricket College of Excellence) Left arm fast.
Adam Smith
Moved to Salisbury in 2001. Joined South Wilts from Salisbury Wanderers for successful 2002 season. Right arm medium fast. Also a county badminton player.
