LOUISA Lockwood enjoyed a successful couple of days at Tweseldown Horse Trials when Freddie Lee followed up his Novice win at Larkhill with another success. The venue's sandy soil was clearly to the liking of the horse and Louisa was able to push on over the cross country section and finish just inside the optimum to complete the three phases on their dressage score. Freddie Lee, owned by New Forest resident Janet Jarvis, will now move up to Intermediate Novice next time out. There was a second win at Twesel-down for Louisa when five-year-old Lucia di Lammermoor won the Open Pre-Novice class. Louisa closed by finishing ninth on William Grant's horse Blue Gray Celebrity - a horse supported by Woolley & Wallis having only his first Novice horse trials having previously team chased with his owner.
