STEPHEN Lyons, an engineer employed at a Devizes firm, is to face ten charges of indecent assault and gross indecency with young girls.
Lyons, 35, of Ruskin Avenue, Melksham, was told he would be sent for trial at Crown Court after a further seven charges were added to the three he faced when he first appeared before Kennet Magistrates Court in Devizes in January.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Devizes, Melksham and elsewhere in Britain.
Rachel Hume, prosecuting, applied for a four-week adjournment while the evidence, including video interviews with alleged child victims and photographs taken by Lyons himself, is viewed by counsel for both sides.
Lyons was released on bail conditional on his having no contact with the alleged victims and their families, not coming to Devizes apart from to go to work on Hopton Industrial Estate and not to go to Lowbourne Junior School in Melksham. Another condition, to have no contact with any child under 16, was amended so he could have access to his seven-year-old son.
