CHIPPENHAM U13s and U14s tasted Dorset and Wiltshire cup final glory at Supermarine RFC on Sunday afternoon.

But the club's U12s team were unable to add the twin counties title to their already bulging trophy cabinet and went down to defeat in their age group final to Bournemouth.

The U13s took on Swanage and Wareham and ran in nine unanswered tries to hammer the Dorset champions 51-0.

Coach Jerry Field was delighted for the team and said: "Sunday's result is just reward for all the effort the boys have put in since we started together last August.

"The squad has gone through the whole season without losing a match in any competition and has three trophies to show a fantastic achievement which makes all the work worthwhile."

Chippenham's Under 14s also went into their cup final undefeated this season in any competitive match and claimed their fourth title of the season with a 22-5 victory over Dorset champions Wimborne.

The U12s went into their final against the mighty Bournemouth with for festival and tournament wins already under their belts this season.

But their bid to make it five ended in disappointment as the Dorset side clinched a 35-0 win.
