RAIN forced the abandonment of Chippenham's home friendly against South Wilts on Saturday.
South Wilts reached 209 for nine in their 50 overs, with Wiltshire captain Russell Rowe making 28. Paul Bates was Chippenham's most successful bowler, with four for 34 from 11 overs.
Chippenham lost Mark Hunt to the first ball of their reply before the match was abandoned with the reply on 28 for one.
