CORSHAM were unable to build on a promising Easter programme as they came unstuck on Chard's notorious sloping pitch.
The visitors found themselves two behind at the break despite playing down the Zembard Lane slope, but pulled one back in the second half through Rob Humphries. Simon Baines headed a late third to clinch the points.
Joint-boss Dave King said: "It was a big disappointment We just didn't play, squandered possession throughout and suffered from a lack of quality in the first half.
"We went a goal down after some woeful marking from a throw-in, and the third goal was terrible. It came from our own throw-in."
