LEUKAEMIA patient Julia Hember is back on the road to recovery after a suffering a setback last week.
The 33-year-old was resting at her home with parents Paul and Mary in Codford, but illness forced her to return to St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, where doctors are now monitoring her closely.
Her dad Paul said: "She was running a high temperature but this has gone down and she has stabilised. We are hoping she will come home later this week."
Miss Hember was diagnosed last year and received treatment in March. She is taking a course of medication and had a blood transfusion last week, but will have to wait another two to three months to find out if her stem cell transplant has been a success.
Mr Hember said: "We are old fashioned Brits and are not weeping or banging our heads against the wall we're trying to stay calm. Mary is getting the worst of it as an amateur nurse because she is seeing all the bad times.
"Julia is very determined and sensible, she does not take things lying down."
