MOST Wanted is a revolutionary boy band set to take the world by storm - and two of its members are from Swindon.

Star breakdancers Darren Hajul, 23, and James Bruce, 21, grew up in the town, practising their moves at a local youth club.

But they now feel more at home in London, singing alongside top names in the music industry.

Their debut single, So Freaky, was performed alongside pop sensation Christina Aguilera, urban icon Ms Dynamite and diva Shirley Bassey at the London Fashion Week in February.

It is all a far cry from Darren's upbringing in Park North, where he lived before moving to the capital, aged 18.

He said: "I am not used to red carpets and limousines.

"We are rushed off our feet with fame at the moment and the paparazzi follow us about in nightclubs. London is so big that having a friend from my old stomping ground in Swin-don is great."

Darren first met James, who then lived in Westlea, five years ago.

Every Sunday they went to Plus One, a former youth club based in Euclid Street, to perfect their breakdancing skills.

Their fancy footwork has since been showcased at breakdance champion-ships across the world.

Also both passionate singers, Darren decided to form a band combining their physical and vocal talents.

Darren said: "I just went for it and things worked out. It is all pretty amazing and we cannot wait to hit the charts."

With the help of teenage millionaire Dominic McVey, who made his fortune importing motorised scooters from Arizona, they found three other members.

Leeroy Bailey, 21, from Coventry, Jay Fuller, 19, from Coventry and Joel Howard, 22, from Brighton, make up the five-strong team who aim to perform a unique mix of rock, pop and hip hop.

The group now shares a house in East London and are negotiating a deal with top record companies.

Born just a few months ago, the band have already featured on TV and appeared in a clutch of magazines and national news- papers.

James said: "The response has been amazing and people have started asking for our autographs. This time next year we should be millionaires."

If you fancy catching Most Wanted in action, they will perform in The Prince's Polo Concert, in aid of the Prince's Trust, on May 25. Chart toppers Liberty X and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton also star in the event, which takes place at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, Windsor. Tickets can be booked on www.princes-polo.co.uk
