WOOTTON Bassett's Dave Parker and Devizes' skipper James Gaiger will feature in Dorset & Wilts opening Tetley's County Shield match tomorrow.

Former Under 20 player Parker, who also represents the University of Gloucester, is at full-back, while Gaiger plays at flanker against Buckinghamshire at Marlow.

Chippenham's Wes Newsome is on the bench with Devizes Tom Collins.

Team manager Martin Hill wants his side to land a Twickenham appearance on County Finals Day on May 24. They also take on Oxfordshire in Pool Three at Swanage & Wareham on May 10.

"This season we have tried to bring the players together more than we have done in the past and we are in a better position than we have been,'' said Hill.

"We have all got very positive attitudes and the dream of a final at Twickenham is a real possibility.''
