MORE than 800 lots were sold at Highworth auctioneer's Kidson-Trigg latest auction last week.
The poor weather did not stop buyers bidding for the selection of modern teak garden furniture on offer at the salerooms with benches, tables, chairs and parasols all being snapped up.
The furniture created the most interest, with a Victorian walnut breakfast credenza selling for £1,550, and a late 19th century mahogany dining room table selling for £750.
The next auction at Kidson-Trigg will be on May 29, when 1,000 lots will be on offer.
The sale will include antique furniture, fine art and period stoneware.
The auction house has several items of particular interest coming from house clearances of homes including a large flat in West London and an Anglo-Irish country home.
Three good Georgian chests of drawers are expected to create a lot of interest, as well as an oil on canvas by George Houston titled Lock Fyne.
