Some 30 horses and their riders took to the Wiltshire countryside raising more than £400 for charity.
The 2003 Bluebell Ride took place in aid of Wiltshire and Swindon Community Founda-tion, which gives grants to local charities working with disadvantaged people across the county.
Following a champagne reception the riders set off through Lockeridge Woods, near Marlborough.
Ride organiser Elinor Goodman, Channel 4's political editor, said: "I firmly believe in the need for a Community Foundation in the county. I hope it will be able to provide more financial support to the groups working with local people in need."
Ms Goodman is hoping to organise another ride on June 7. She needs 40 riders to join her.
