FURTHER to Sid Walter's letter of April 14, I have to agree that discussing the breastfeeding of babies is a waste of critical parliamentary time.
We hear so much of the mother's rights. Does Julia Drown not realise that babies have Human Rights the right to expect to be able to dine in peace (so to speak).
I was told it was beneficial to baby if the mum went somewhere quiet to breast feed, had a milk drink herself and relaxed.
Surely it is not so very different now.
It is such a short time in baby's life when it is necessary to feed more often than the usual mealtimes. Couldn't Ms Drown forget being a politician and become a mum?
