WOULD-BE dairy farmers can try their hand at milking and butter-churning at Lackham Country Park on Monday.
As part of a May Day Dairy Day visitors to the country park at Lackham can milk a life-sized model cow called Tulip, hop aboard a tractor and trailer for a visit to a state of the art milking parlour, and help name a full size multi-colour 'cow' for charity.
The charity day will raise funds for the Lackham Museum of Agriculture and Rural Life Trust, and the Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
The programme will include activities for all the family, including a hunt the milk bottle competition, banner making, and a pin the tail on the cow contest.
The Dairy Day will open at 10am and close at 5pm.
